objectives of our
course
Since
1973,
our training has tried to provide access to a high-performance and world-renowned
workshop for people interested in stained glass techniques. We want
to share our passion with you.
We provide adults with efficient and professional training and the chance
to discover a new field of application.
Who
is this training for?
Professionals
and craftsmen, job changes and employees on Personal Training Schemes
and private customers.
No previous experience is required for this training. Access to the
training modules occurs after an interview with the Master Glassmakers.
A specific training programme is devised according to the personal objectives
of each participant.
Duration
of the training
Training
courses are in modules (39 hours) or Groups of modules, depending
on the initial skills of each trainee and their professional aspirations.

trainees. The reference book "La Maîtrise du Vitrail"
(Mastering
Stained Glass) by
C. and P. Andrieux (publishers Dessain et Tolra) is given to every
participant.

Teaching
methods
Active
and progressive methods, step-by-step stained glass, from the simplest
to the most complex: copies, creations, restoration techniques.
Within the workshop and under the direction of Master Glassmakers and
in permanent contact with craftsmen, the trainee joins a dynamic group.
At the end of the course, an interview with the Master Glassmakers will
evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired by the trainee. Personal
advice is given in terms of tools and equipment. The trainee receives
the diploma from the Maison du Vitrail and also a training certificate
with the level of skills acquired and described in the Convention
Collective.
Every course can be supplemented with customised monitoring via the
"Connaissance du Vitrail" association.
